Есть vsftpd-2.0.5 c конфигом

Локально пускает, ftp localhost
Удалённо, с внешки или локалки всё завершается вводом пароля(в far'е это sendin password, и ждём пока по таймауту не отвалится). Iptables включал/выключал - не помогло. В vsftpd логах ничего. Что делать ?
